This week, GBBC is celebrating its 56th founding anniversary. Since face to face gatherings are still not allowed, we will continue our celebration and thanksgiving virtually.
We are just so grateful to our Abba Father for sustaining us throughout these years and for especially taking care of us this school year when everything seemed so uncertain. But because of God’s gracious hand, we continue to exist and continue to make a difference on this part of the world.
We thank our ministry partners here and abroad for your continued support and prayers. Thank you so much for being a channel of blessing to us. When we weren’t sure if we could still continue to keep our doors open this school year, you stood up for us and made sure our needs are met so we can continue the ministry that God has entrusted upon us. Thank you so much to all of you who have given generously and sacrificially. To our brethren in the US, we are forever grateful to all of you for not leaving us in these very difficult times.
To our churches here in the Philippines, we usually visit you to give updates but because of our current situation, we couldn’t do it, but some of you continued to honor yesterday as GBBC Sunday and went the extra mile of taking up a special offering for GBBC. I am personally humbled for your heartfelt display of concern for our College. As I type this I am in tears knowing that we are all struggling, but for you to continue to give financially without us asking is such a blessing. Thank you so much, Pastors, for your initiative and leadership. Please know that we are beyond grateful for your act of kindness.
We thank God for giving our faculty and staff patient endurance and enduring patience. It hasn’t been easy navigating through this new normal of learning, but God sustained us a day at a time. The same way, we are thankful to our pupils, students, guardians, and parents for your trust and confidence and for also being patient throughout this process. Everything is different but you were so willing to journey with us in discovering this new modality of learning.
I am amazed at how God has orchestrated everything because this is truly doing together what we cannot do alone!!!
Just want to share this praise as well…our recertification was successfully done last February 1st. We don’t know our rating yet, but we praise and thank God that everything went well. Thank you for praying for and with us because this is such a big deal for us to keep our status with the government.
Moreover, we praise and thank God for keeping us safe during this entire COVID captivity and most especially yesterday when we were shaken again by another strong earthquake. Some areas affected before had some damages, and we are yet to hear more updates, but we are thankful that God allowed us to experience once again His protection.
We believe that everything going on around us is beyond our control. But we serve a sovereign God who is in control of everything. We continue to commit GBBC to Him and His leading and direction. We acknowledge that it is only by and through His grace that we can continue to exist for His glory!
In gratitude, we continue to bow down before Him!
Again, thank you so much for your continued prayers and support. It would have been very difficult for us if not for partners like you! May God continue to use you and bless you! Thank you for being with us all these years….
Happy 56th Founding Anniversary, GBBC!!!
To God be all the glory!!!
