The Philippines experienced another significant earthquake on October 29. Reports said it was magnitude 6.4. Joyce Porcadilla reports, “We had to cancel classes at GBBC and let the staff and teachers go home after checking all the building.
By God’s Grace we are all safe but a lot of our buildings on campus have a lot of cracks. Some houses of our staff and students and former students in North Cotabato collapsed. We are still checking and confirming all damages caused by the series of earthquakes we experienced for the past two weeks now.”
Damage occurred to the Biawan and Buenavida General Baptist Churches in Makilala, North Cotabato, Philippines. Many church members homes were damaged as well.
Pastor Jaime Maputol reports seven additional churches damaged in the Kidapawan area of North Cotabato bringing the confirmed total to nine churches
